Description
Mobile tasks (Mobiilabihtát) are Sámi language exercises for primary school students who study Sámi as a second language (Sámi 2 or 3). The exercises are adapted to different levels. Through games and activities, the student can learn new words and practice communication connected to various situations and language learning.
The teaching resource covers these parts of the curriculum:

Competence aims after Year 2
The student shall be able to:
- use words and expressions about themselves and their immediate surroundings
- talk about pictures, texts, and their environment
- tell about themselves and their immediate surroundings
- listen to different types of presentations such as games and participate in them
- play and work creatively with speech sounds, syllables, language elements, and rhythm
- attempt to write and read familiar words, phrases, and simple sentences
Competence aims after Year 4
The aim of the learning is that the student shall be able to:
- use words and expressions in everyday life and their immediate surroundings
- write short texts that provide information, tell, and ask questions
- use clear pronunciation and understandable intonation
Competence aims after Year 7
The aim is that the student shall be able to use understandable intonation and sentence structure.
Competence aims after Year 10
- participate in spontaneous and planned conversations
- explore and present various topics
- use the main rules of spelling, word inflection, and sentence structure
Sámi as a second language, Sámi 3
After Level 1, the student shall be able to:
- use words and expressions about themselves and their immediate surroundings
- talk about pictures, texts, and their environment
- tell about themselves and their immediate surroundings
- listen to games and work with them creatively
- explore speech sounds, syllables, language elements, and rhythm and work creatively with them
- read texts and respond to them
- write words, sentences, and short texts
After Level 2, the student shall be able to:
- use words and expressions in everyday life and their immediate surroundings
- talk about and describe events and plans
- write short texts that provide information, tell, and ask questions
- use clear pronunciation and understandable word inflection and sentence structure
After Level 3, the student shall be able to:
- use varied words and expressions about interests and leisure time
- talk about and describe experiences and plans
- write texts that provide information, tell, and ask questions
- use appropriate word inflection and sentence structure
